Patrick Klein is a Ph.D. student at the Professorship of Operations & Supply Chain Management. He studied computer science in Aachen (B.Sc.) and is currently enrolled in a consecutive master program at TUM. His research is centered on the analysis and optimization of sustainable concepts for future urban mobility systems, such as autonomous mobility on demand and intermodal transportation. For this purpose, he designs and implements metaheuristics, exact algorithms, and derives mathematical models for vehicle routing and scheduling problems.
In his free time, Patrick enjoys rowing, swimming, and cooking. He has a keen interest in all things related to computer science, the physical sciences, and nutrition.
