Dr. Ulf Steinberg joined the team of the Chair of Research and Science Management at the Technical University of Munich as a research associate in December 2013. He completed his dissertation on social power in 2019 and continues to work at the chair as a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer. His research focuses on how power affects behavior in organizations and on the digital transformation of people leadership and management. Dr. Steinberg is also researching and promoting open science practices. 

In terms of teaching, Dr. Steinberg reaches a range of different audiences, such as, students, MBA students, and other scientists, in seminars and personal development workshops. The topics of his classes include leadership, ethics, intercultural management, project management, individual performance measurement, and research methods.

His research and teaching are inspired by his previous work experience at an industrial company with international operations and his experience as a systemic coach who works with upper management levels. Dr. Steinberg has been invited to review for major scientific journals in his field of expertise, such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior. He is a member of several professional associations and serves on the open science commission of the German Psychological Society.
